Welcome to Akbuk, Turkey
Latest dates available in 2007
Akbuk was once a small fishing village just 15km from the Golden Sands of Altinkum. With very friendly local people, virtually zero crime rate, clean fresh air, beautiful sea & coastline, panoramic views, and restricted building for the future. Akbuk is an ideal rural location.
Although smaller and less commercialised than Altinkum, Akbuk has plenty to offer. The area is covered with protected forests and olive trees with the background scenery being immensly lush and green due to the tree covered mountains, which provide beautiful tranquil views.
The region has many small and clean beaches. The crystal clear water of the Agean sea create a perfect peaceful setting. Due to the calm waters around Akbuk, the bays in the area are very safe for all the family to enjoy.
Akbuk also has the highest oxygen ratio, and the lowest humidity in Turkey making it one of the most naturally healthy enviroments in which to live. The climate is warm, and with a gentle breeze the bays are refreshingly cool in the peak summer months.
The small harbour is host to many site seeing tours and fishing trips. If you are a keen fisherman, then fishing from almost anywhere will net you a variety of sea fish.
At the local fishing farm you can enjoy a freshly caught fish being diligently prepared for you, whilst sitting and watching the world go by.
The small town centre has all the amenities you need from traditional turkish delights, to english food brands. There are food markets, a chemist, hairdresser, internet cafe, banks and some great traditional eateries.
Welcome to Akbuk ! ! !
